We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef for a prestigious 5★ boutique hotel based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the culinary operation, maintaining exceptional food quality standards, and delivering an outstanding dining experience within a luxury hospitality environment.

This role requires a passionate culinary professional with strong fine dining experience and the ability to lead a structured kitchen operation while maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Candidates who have worked within international 5-star hospitality establishments will have a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily kitchen operation
Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards
Oversee menu execution and culinary consistency
Manage and develop kitchen brigade performance
Ensure hygiene, stock control, and operational standards are maintained
Deliver a high-end guest dining experience

Requirements:

Previous experience as an Executive Chef or senior culinary leader
Strong fine dining experience essential
Experience within luxury hospitality environments
Excellent leadership and kitchen management ability
Strong organizational and operational skills
International 5-star hotel experience advantageous
