We are seeking an experienced Head Chef for a busy fine dining restaurant based in Rosebank.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional food quality, and ensuring the highest culinary standards across fine dining, buffet, and à la carte service. This role is suited to a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong track record of leading successful kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all daily kitchen operations
Plan and execute exceptional fine dining, buffet, and à la carte menus
Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade
Manage stock control, food costing, and kitchen administration
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
Drive operational efficiency within a busy kitchen environment
Requirements:
4–5 years' experience as a Head Chef
Previous experience within a busy fine dining restaurant
Experience in fine dining, buffet, and à la carte service essential
Culinary Diploma or recognised culinary qualification
Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Stable employment history with a good work record
